Basketball : 1992-93 Boys Basketball Team is Recognized

Basketball January 6, 2012 - The 1992-93 AHS Boys Basketball team and Coach Ken Mapp were recognized at halftime of the boys basketball game at Griffin Arena on January 6th. Asheville and UNC-Chapel Hill superstar Charlie "Choo Choo" Justice still holds the NCHSAA state record for rushing yards in a career per attempt (min. 150 carries), with 14.0 in three seasons (1940-42).
