After winning the MAC Conference championship, the Asheville High Lady Cougar Soccer team fell short in its quest for a State Championship, losing to rival T.C. Roberson 3-0 in the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs on May 19th. The Lady Cougars finished the season at 20-4-2, with a #7 ranking in NC. The game was taped for delayed broadcast by the Cougar Sports Network and will be shown nightly at 8:30 p.m. through May 25th. Congratulations, Lady Cougars,on an outstanding season!
