Congratulations to Asheville football coach Danny Wilkins for being named NC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press. Wilkins led the Cougars to a perfect 15-0 season and State 3A Championship this year and has a 40-3 record over the last three years. Coach Wilkins was also named the WNC Coach of the Year and will coach in the East-West All Star Game in July. These are well-deserved honors for a fine man and a fine coach!!
