The Asheville High Weight room recently received approximately $40,000 in equipment upgrades and replacement. The new weight equipment replaces 15-20 year old equipment, much of which was “hand me down” when it was received. Several contributors and sponsors donated the money needed to purchase the equipment.
Although the weight room has been refurbished in time for the upcoming football season, the weight equipment gets far more usage from people who are not part of the team. Click Read More below to continue, and to see Before and After pictures!

The Cougar Sports Network has maintained this website for the past few months to announce information about upcoming TV broadcasts, provide behind-the-scenes looks at a CSN production, and also to provide some team information when available. What would you like to see more of on this site? What's missing, or what can we improve? It is difficult to keep information for individual sports updated and all work is done solely by volunteers. Would you like to join our team and become a correspondant to our site, providing information or statistics about a Cougar sport? We welcome your feedback. If you have some ideas or suggestions on what we can do to better our site, please take a moment and visit this thread on our Message Board. You may also email us at feedback (at) cougarsportsnet (dot) com. Thanks for stopping by and for your help in making this a better site!
