 Clemmons, NC -- Congratulations to the 2006 Men's and Women's Cross Country teams on another outstanding year. In the State Championships held on November 4 at Tanglewood, the Women's team finished second in the state with a total time of 1:42:10.78, and the Men's team finished third with a time of1:25:34.96. Way to go Cougars!

Franklin - October 19, 2006 - The Asheville High boys and Roberson girls won team championships Thursday at the Mountain Athletic Conference cross country meet held at Enloe Farm in Franklin. The Cougars (42 points) beat the Rams (48) in the boys race for the first time this season and were led by senior Andrew North (third place, 17:13.22). Roberson senior Josh Dubin took first place (16:34.97) individually. In the girls race, Roberson (19) beat runner-up Asheville by 51 points. Rams junior Caroline Kirby also won individually with a time of 20:29.16. Congratulations Asheville!
