The next games for the Lady Cougars will be as follows:

Western Region Games will be played at the LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem, and the Coliseum Annex. Women's games will most likely be in the annex.

The NCHSAA Championship will be played in the Dean E. Smith Center o­n the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Asheville High Lady Cougars defeated the Blackhawks of North Buncombe for the fourth time this season 56-24. The Cougars were led by McCants with 19 points and Burgin with 13. Good luck to the Lady Cougars!Click o­n Read More for official game statistics.

The Asheville High Lady Cougars defeated the Smoky Mountain Mustangs at home in the first round of the NCHSAA playoffs 72-38. Four Cougar players reached double digits in scoring: #32 Rashanda McCants dominated with 30 points, #55 Danielle Burgin had 12 points, #23 Lauren Powell had 11, and #11 Kirbie Guillebeaux had 10. For the Mustangs, #23 Cetera Degrafenreid had 18 points. The next game for the Lady Cougars will be against the North Buncombe Blackhawks at home o­n Friday, February 27, weather permitting. For the second straight year, the Lady Cougars are Mountain Athletic Conference champions.
