Football The Asheville Cougars football team ended the 2010 season in a familiar place: deep in the 3A playoffs. The Cougars (10-3) lost 31-20 to Hibriten High School (12-2) of Lenoir in the third round (quarterfinals). Congratulations to the players and coaches for an extraordinary effort this season!
