September 4, 2008 - The Lady Cougars of Asheville High (2-1) defeated cross-town rival Carolina Day School (1-1) in field hockey by a score of 3-0 at Asheville High Memorial Stadium Thursday in their first meeting of the season.  The teams meet again on September 8th at Carolina Day.  The Cougar Sports Network was there to cover all of the action.  Click the "On the Air" tab for broadcast times.  Congratulations Cougars on a great win!

Asheville - August 29, 2008 - A.C. Reynolds (4A) came away with a 17-10 football victory over the Asheville Cougars (3A) in the season opener, for only their second win over the Cougars in the last six meetings.
