Waynesville, NC - October 28, 2004 - Asheville grabbed sole possession of second place in the MAC standings by winning its fourth straight game as Johnny White rushed for 179 yards and two touchdown runs. Cougars quarterback Crezdon Butler added 119 yards o­n the ground and a touchdown run.  It was a sloppy game for both teams and the officials, with fumbles, interceptions, and questionable calls.  Jonathan Crompton, highly-touted quarterback for Tuscola, turned the ball over twice that led to two Asheville touchdowns, an interception by Tremaine Mallory and a fumble recovery by Elijah Harrison.  The Cougars finish the regular season at home for Parents' Night o­n November 5th versus Erwin.
