Asheville High School athletic director Rex Wells has claimed the title of Certified Athletic Director. The honor puts Rex in an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of Mr. Wells’ educational background, experience, professional contributions plus a rigorous, comprehensive written examination.
