Randy Cable, VP/GM of WISE 1310 AM, has announced that "Big WISE" will cover all Asheville High football games for the 2004 season. A pregame show, full game play-by-play and analysis, halftime scores/stats/updates, and a complete postgame show will be featured all season long. This is the first time the Cougars have had their own full-time radio coverage since the legendary Zeb Lee followed Asheville from 1947-1994 on WSKY. WISE is a local all-sports station that is affiliated with ESPN Radio. Cable said that with Asheville's athletic prowess and the coverage area of WISE, it is a nice fit and they are excited about the season. Several promotions are in the works, including the recognition of athletes, ticket and valuable prize give-aways and much more. Special thanks to AHS graduate and local radio celebrity Dawn Creasman for her help in making this happen! We welcome Big WISE to the Cougar Sports Network family.
