Asheville -- The Cougar Soccer team handlily defeated R-S Central 4-0 in the third round of the NCHSAA State Playoffs at Memorial Stadium o­n Wednesday. The game was taped for broadcast by the Cougar Sports Network and will be shown o­n Asheville Educational Television channel 16. "Soccer Bob" Somerville provided the play-by-play, joined by special guest Patrick Gladys, head coach of the A.C. Reynolds soccer team, who provided color analysis.

The Cougars' next game will be November 16 at home against Charlotte Catholic (#1, Queen City Conference).  Go Cougars!
