WINSTON-SALEM -- The Lady Cougars eliminate East Rowan Saturday night 74-59 at the LJVM Coliseum Annex to advance to the NCHSAA 3A Basketball Western Region Finals. The Cougars are now 26-1. They will play High Point Central tomorrow (29-1) for the Western Region Championship. They held the lead most of the game by 20 points. Both teams had strong outside games, Four Asheville players hit double digits.
